Lead Developer (Contract, Part-Time)

 

Vancouver, BC (Hybrid) | 20-30 hours/week | 3-4 month contract (potential for extension & growth)

PrimeHealth is revolutionizing healthcare communication and patient engagement. Our platform empowers patients, families, and caregivers by making health data more accessible, reducing stress, and improving outcomes.

We are currently building a proof of concept (PoC) for a customer/design partner, and we’re looking for a Lead Developer to play a key role in shaping our product’s future.

What You’ll Be Doing

​

• Developing and iterating on a PoC for a key customer

• Enhancing and updating our existing MVP (progressive web app)

• Building a provider administration portal for healthcare professionals

• Collaborating closely with product and design teams to create an intuitive user experience

• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code

 

What We’re Looking For

​

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (or deep expertise in either front-end or back-end)

• Proficiency in our tech stack:

  • Backend: PHP (Laravel 10.10)

  • Frontend: JavaScript (Vue3 3.3.13), Tailwind (3.2.1)

  • Database: MySQL 8, MSSQL 2019 for SMS notifications

• Ambitious, confident, and a team player who can advocate for their ideas

• Emotionally intelligent with strong soft skills to collaborate effectively

• A flexible thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment

 

Bonus Points If You Have:

​

• Experience with health tech or building SaaS platforms

• Familiarity with AWS hosting and cloud-based infrastructure

• Prior startup experience
